A Lot of Catching Up To Do...

So, as my mother-in-law reminded me this weekend, it's been a while since I've posted pictures of Josiah. Sorry Grammy!! Grab a chair because this is going to be a very picture heavy post!

While Mom and Dad were here, we went to Mae Sa Elephant Camp. It was so much fun! We rode the elephants, fed them, visited the nursery and watched a great show done by the elephants. Sadly, Josiah was terrified of the elephants and didn't really want to get near them. He was okay riding on one though.

Josiah saying "Cheese" for the camera.

He missed a nap, so he's getting sleepy.

Josiah feeding a big mommy elephant.

Although Josiah was scared of the big ones, he really enjoyed petting this one month old baby. Did you know that female elephants are pregnant for 22 months? Poor things!!

Josiah freaking out because he's too close to an elephant! ha!

I think this picture is hilarious! Josiah was terrified of the elephant and wouldn't sit still for the picture. He was grabbing Aaron's shirt until his knuckles were white.

We had to do a border run to Myanmar. Here we are at the northern most of Thailand. The blue sign in the background is the border of Myanmar.

While we were on the border of Myanmar and Thailand, we took a boat and crossed over to the border of Laos as well. Josiah really enjoyed the boat ride but it was freezing!

My cute little man in his life jacket.

We stayed in a hotel on the border of Myanmar. We don't have cable at home so Josiah was mesmerized by the Thai infomercials.

Josiah gets to eat some cool stuff living overseas. We were on a road trip and stopped for a snack. We got Josiah some sticky rice cooked in bamboo shoots. He loved it!

A close up of the rice/bean bamboo thing.

Josiah loves this hat and asks to wear it all the time now.

Josiah loves noodles and learned to slurp them up because Pawpaw showed him. Thanks Dad...

16 weeks with baby boy

Here is my 16 week picture. Everything seems to be going well. I think I've felt our little guy moving around a little, but it's so hard to know for sure this early.

Aaron and I have agreed on a compromise for naming this boy. I told him that he could pick the first name and I'll pick the middle. We could still use some name suggestions though. Just nothing that starts with "J" please.

I'll be posting some pictures soon of our trip to the elephant camp with Mom and Dad. We had a blast!
